Grandma Kyles Frozen Peanut Butter Dessert

BASE

1 1/2 cup graham (or oreo) crumbs

4oz crushed pecans (this time I used peanuts)

2 tbs. creamy peanut butter

1/4 cup melted butter or margarine

Mix ingredients and press into the bottom of a 9×13 pan, saving a bit to sprinkle on the top later.

TOPPING

1 pkg (8oz) softened cream cheese

1/2 cup icing sugar

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

2 eggs

1 tub cool whip (I used the equivalent amount of real whipped cream)

1 tsp vanilla

Mix all and spread evenly over the base. Sprinkle reserved crust crumbs and top with chocolate chips, shelled peanuts, chocolate sprinkles, chocolate or caramel syrups. Β Whatever you would like. Freeze overnight for best results.

For the recipe in the post, I used some of the crumbs, shelled peanuts, and some of the Dutch ‘De Ruijter’ chocolate sprinkles that we brought back from The Netherlands. I added the caramel syrup after I cut the individual pieces.
