With the recent mention of this magnificent yet rarely used tool in my kitchen (here) I decided to write another tool post.
There’s not much to say. There is absolutely no way you’re going to make spaetzle without making a mess. When you drop the batter in the box part and slide it up and down the cutter board part, the bits of batter drop into the hot pot of boiling water and stick to the outside of the pot and fall on the stove where they cook. Spaetzle is delicious and worth every spill.
